“When Hearts Whispered Across Corridors”
It was a time when the world seemed much larger, yet my heart had found its center in a distant town, miles away from home.i was in college, living in a hostel — far from the warmth of my family, but unknowingly walking into a chapter that would remain etched in the most tender corner of my heart.
She was from the Pharmacy , and myself from an Engineering student. Different courses, different routines, but somehow, the threads of fate were weaving something soft and magical between us. Maybe it was in the canteen, or at the college gates, or just in the quiet crossing of paths after lectures — my eyes noticed her first, and then my heart followed.
I didn’t speak much, maybe not at all, but oh — the way her presence would stir something inside me
A gentle storm of emotions…
A silent thrill of just being able to see her once in a day…
That sweet nervousness in my chest whenever she walked by…
The way my day would brighten if i caught a glimpse of her smiling with her friends…
That hostel life, with its long evenings, brought moments of deep thought and longing.
I would sit by the window, staring at the distant sky, wondering if she had even noticed me…
Did she know someone admired her from afar?
Someone who silently prayed for her happiness, without asking for anything in return?
In a college filled with noise, studies, and struggles, she was my peaceful distraction, my quiet inspiration.
I might have never told her, might have never even come close…
But in my world, she lived like a soft melody —
a tune that played in the background of my most innocent and heartfelt days.
Sometimes, the most beautiful love stories are the ones that never needed words,
just feelings — pure, unspoken, and timeless.
