Do you vote in political elections?
In India, voting in political elections is not mandatory it is voluntary. Every Indian citizen who is 18 years or older has the right to vote, but they are not legally required to do so.
However, voting is strongly encouraged as a civic duty. It’s a way for citizens to participate in shaping the government and policies. Some campaigns and initiatives promote 100% voter turnout, but there is no punishment for not voting.
